Library Link1.5.6 - App Store

Library Link gives you the ability to:
- Search for available resources
- Check your alert messages for overdues or holds
- View library information such as location and opening hours
- Scan ISBNs or barcodes to automatically retrieve resources from the system
- View the library's latest resources
- View and place a renewal for your loaned items.

If your library supports the following features, you can also:
- Browse the library's reading lists.
- Borrow and return items.
Library settings will need to be provided by your local library, as long as they are using a Softlink Oliver v5 system.

Version History Links in information boxes on the Library Link Home page now work with iOS 14.x devices. 1.5.6 05/26/2021 Re-packaged with Apple's latest development tools for App Store compliance.

The icons and colour theme have been updated to match the new look and feel applied to v5 Build 8 and above.

Reservations can now be placed using Library Link. This feature is available for libraries using v5 Build 8.005 and above.

Library Link has been updated to use latest versions of mobile app development tools.

Library server connections over HTTPS are working as required. 1.4.1 10/28/2015 Updated the setup page to allow configuration via QR codes.

Note: The library server QR Code config feature will be available from v5 Build 6.005 onwards.

Updated handling of related URL's in the catalogue details screen. 1.3 07/11/2013 The setup page is now easier to use. The corporation field is now a selection list and previously entered URL’s are maintained in a selection list.

A bibType or GMD image is displayed in the search result list when the resource does not have a cover image.

Updated to jQuery-mobile 1.1 (from 1.0) for visual improvements with list scrolling.

Updated to Cordova 1.9 (from phonegap 1.4.1) to overcome the problem with losing settings when restarting the phone. This change should also ensure future updates no longer cause library server settings to be lost.

The library home screen now uses text formatting as specified in OPAC home page information boxes.

Pressing the GO button on the virtual keypad in the setup screen now causes the form to be submitted. 1.2 07/24/2012 Fixed a problem with the display of URL's in the details page.
